If you have applied for an international project in the past, you will notice some major differences this year. Student Venture is the high school ministry of a larger organization called Campus Crusade for Christ. This year, we are using the online application that is used by the college ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. Here are a few things you will need to do to apply.

1. If you are under 18 years old, download and print the Parent Consent Packet.
2. If you are over 18 years old and out of high school, download the Background Screening Consent and Information Form.

4. Once all the required components of your application are received, your application will be reviewed.

Then give the packet to your parent(s) to review. The packet includes a consent form that your parent must read, sign, and mail to our office. Although you will submit your application online (as explained below), it will not be evaluated until the parent consent form is received.

2. If you are over 18 years old and out of high school, download the Background Screening Consent and Information Form.

We are required by law to perform a background screening on anyone over the age of 18 who is out of high school. The cost for this screening is $25; please include a check made payable to "Student Venture" with your completed Background Screening Consent and Information Form.

These questions will help you determine if you are ready to apply for a project:

• Once you click on the "apply now online" button, you will need to create a username and password to access your application.
• As you read the Instructions and FAQ at the beginning of the application, be aware that most of that information is directed to college students going on college ministry (Campus Mnistry) projects.
• Complete the application. You will not need to fill out the entire application in one sitting, but will have the option of saving your work and coming back to it later.
• You will need to provide three (3) references. These should be three different people who are not related to you to give you a reference, including: a peer/friend who knows you well, a parent/guardian, and a spiritual leader (preferably this will be a Student Venture/Campus Crusade for Christ staff person, or you may ask a pastor/youth pastor or adult Bible study leader; this should be someone who knows you well).
• Pay the application fee. This may be done online with a credit card or debit card. Or you may mail a check or money order (made payable to "Student Venture") to SV International Projects / 100 Lake Hart Dr., Dept 3200 / Orlando, FL 32832. Please do not send cash.

4. Once all the required components of your application are received, your application will be reviewed.
